From the D20 SRD "Taking 20 means you are trying until you get it right, and it assumes that you fail many times before succeeding. ".

This is exactly how I feel after the last few days. I have (or in that case, the cards and dice) have decided to let go the whole "Ghost Face" angle to replace it with...  That's the thing, I don't yet... Sometimes, in my eagerness to get the data, I will overlook some nice and easily reachable RPGs and instead go out on a limb and take some things from unorthodox sources like news headlines.

For exemple, had today been the day which I would have decide what would my next story about, it would have been based on "LA confronts Asian family abuse", which talks about how recently immigrant families have trouble adjusting to their new surroundings, because the "upper hand" seems to be reversed as the women are adjusting more easily to America which provides additional tension.

While there may be something to write around this, I'm not sure I am the right person for the job. Still November is far away and I'm sure something of a more "fantastic" purview will come out. I just hope return to normalcy will not be at too high of a cost.

The first 2 casualties so far are, ironically enough, 2 mundane items about some recipes I had taken. So while I'm taking out Thai and Greek food,  I would guess this will not the last surprise.

In other news, I like reading my older entries from time to time, because I fee some depth can come out when you're lloking at things with wisdom provided by hindsight. That's why I linked these 2 posts with the #5 loop tag.  The former post was talking about my story preparations while preparing my trip to Vancouver and while I'm not going on vacation any time soon, I feel the momentum changing.

The card I've drawn today is MARINE FLOWER. Doesn't mean much but there seems to be a link between Water and Loops.
