Well, whoo-pee-doo!!! Finished writing my second (or is it the first) installment of my Ghostface story. Didn't finished typing it, though, which will give me something to do during the Holidays.
As I continue my search for next year's installment, I have to admit I am a bit drained and I guess the fatigue is bleeding into my search process. So instead of finding new and nteresting things for my next period, the only thing relatively meaningful I could come up with was to mash up a year-old news story about how Survivor host Jeff Probst found true love on the show with... I don't know yet.
Although, a test run I did just before writing this was linking it to a story about a fatality in a horse-sex incident. Now, Julie Berry may not be the most gorgeous woman on the planet and I doubt I could find my way in mixing the two and using this as a suitable backstory. There's still 20 days before I have ot decide.
Went to see the Habs' game with some BigMediaCo people last night (which they lost 3-2 to the Sabres in OT). The only lone point of interest was that Ryder's still on fire having a 2-pts game and we saw Andrei Kostitsyn for the first time in the bleu-blanc-rouge uniform, even though it was only for less than 45 seconds. Learned some juicy gossip along the way as one of the guys working in the same team as myself, is "supposedly" leaving for another department in January, at the latest. This coupled with a small talk I had at the end of the shift yesterday is raising all kind of alarms in my head.
Instead of being assigned to some of the more "glorious" assignments coming our way, it seems that I am pegged to act as liason on all Interactive TV projects with the different departments. A nice resumé-stuffer to be sure but, seeing as I'm not the most diplomatic of guys, it may be an ordeal.
Speaking of my boss, I think he got punk'd as he received a "trophy" from the Two-drinks-minimum crew for being the "most marketeux of the non-marketeux". Personally, I would have been insulted but like I said, I'm not the most diplomatic of guys.
MtG Card-of-the-day: LEY DRUID hmm, seeing I did add a Celtic-type character in my story I've just finished...
